    Dr. Sarah Babai has lived most of her life in the Akron area. She went to Our Lady of the Elms High School. She trained under Dr. Hutzler and Dr. Jadallah during her residency at Summa Health System. She spent a few years in private practice in Dallas, Texas before returning to join her mentors at Women’s Health Group in 2003. She focuses her practice in gynecology. Dr. Babai is committed to educating and empowering women about their health. Her special interests included preventive care, adolescent gynecology, and menopause. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.

  • Steven M. Gorsuch, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.

    Dr. Gorsuch joined the Women’s Health Group in 2001. He enjoys providing health care for women at all stages in their lives – adolescent care, menstrual problems, infertility and menopause. He provides surgical and non-surgical options for various gynecologic problems. He performs minimally invasive surgical techniques. Dr. Gorsuch is the Division Chief of Gynecology at Summa Health System. He grew up locally in Doylestown and married his “high school sweetheart.” They have three children. He enjoys outdoor activities – running, golfing, hiking and skiing.

  • John N. Hutzler, Jr., M.D., F.A.C.O.G.

    Dr. John Hutzler has been in private practice in the Akron area since 1974. He is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northeast Ohio Medical University. Dr. Hutzler was formerly Chairman and OB/GYN program director at St. Thomas Hospital in Akron. He has been the Division Chief of Summa Health System Obstetrics since 1997. Throughout his career, he has always found a special satisfaction in delivering babies. Dr. Hutzler’s special interests include menopause management, osteoporosis, high-risk obstetrics, infertility, gynecologic laser, and endoscopic surgeries. He enjoys gardening, reading, and spending time at the beach. As a native of West Virginia, he is a devoted Mountaineer fan.

  • Ahmad K. Jadallah, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.

    Dr. Jadallah has been in practice with the Women’s Health Group for more than 15 years. He was born and raised in Youngstown. He is fluent in Arabic. After graduating from The Ohio State College of Medicine, he returned to northeast Ohio. He specializes in both general and high-risk obstetrics. His special interests are minimally invasive gynecologic surgery including laparoscopic and robotic hysterectomies. Dr. Jadallah enjoys spending time with his family and traveling and playing in his weekly soccer league.

  • Philip J. Smelcer, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.

    Dr. Philip J. Smelcer joined the Women’s Health Group in July of 2009. He is committed to the full spectrum of obstetrics and gynecology. In doing so, he prides himself on being a good listener and emphatic caregiver. His special interests include minimally invasive surgery including robotic hysterectomies. He labels himself as a “computer geek.” Dr. Smelcer enjoys watching action and sci-fi movies. He is also a diehard University of Tennessee Volunteer fan.

  • Nisrine B. Zahir, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.

    Dr. Zahir was born and raised in Morocco. She is fluent in English, French, Russian, and Arabic. Prior to coming to the United States, she attended the oldest medical school in Russia. Dr. Zahir is proficient in the full cycle of women’s health, from the deliveries of babies to the treatment of postmenopausal women. She specializes in adolescent gynecology, menopause, and high-risk obstetrics. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, traveling, watching romantic comedies, and listening to classical music.

  • Jaclyn G Flickinger, D.O., F.A.C.O.G

    Dr. Flickinger is an Ohio native born in Elyria and completed all her education throughout the state. She joined Women’s Health Group after completing her residency at Cleveland Clinic Akron General where many of the group’s physicians were her mentors. As an OBGYN, she loves that she gets to know her patients as individuals and helps them through the challenges that come up along all stages of life. Though her practice does not currently include OMT (osteopathic manipulative treatment), she strives to use her osteopathic training to treat the whole patient. She performs majors and minimally invasive surgery in addition to obstetrics. Outside of her practice, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family including on the waters of Lake Erie and hiking.

  • James Graham, M.D.

    Dr. James Graham was born and raised in the greater Cleveland area. He joined the Women’s Health Group in 2018 and enjoys providing health care for women at all stages of their lives. He is a member of the teaching faculty at both Summa Akron City Hospital and Cleveland Clinic Akron General. During his residency at Summa Health System, he received the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons Award as well as the John Karlen award for excellence in surgery. He specializes in both general and high-risk obstetrics. His special interests include preventive care and minimally invasive surgery including laparoscopic and robotic. Dr. Graham enjoys spending time with his family and staying active.
